Does this chain saw come without batteries?

Yes, battery and charger are not included. This 16-inch chainsaw is compatible Dewalt battery pack. It is recommended to use two Dewalt 4-5Ah 20V battery packs.
Precautions for first use

Add lubricating oil before use, run the machine for 1 minute, and then start cutting (to fully activate the lubrication system)
What gauge chains should I use?

These two specifications of chains can be replaced:

16-inch chains, 0.043" Gauge, 3/8" LP Pitch, 56 Drive Links.

16-inch chains, 0.043" Gauge, 3/8" LP Pitch, 57 Drive Links.
How to quickly tighten the chain?

1. Loosen the yellow round fixing knob. 2. Turn the gear-shaped roller up and down to adjust the chain tension. 3. Tighten the yellow round fixing knob.
