Core Lawn Aerator V4 Kit, 3.4 in Tines, Container
Differences between version 4 and version 3: The Step âN Tilt version 4 features electro-zinc plated aerator tines with a slightly different shape, whereas version 3 has powder-coated tines. This unit includes an optional soil core container that collects soil cores during lawn aeration. Its primary purpose is to improve ground level or drainage without killing the grass. By redistributing soil cores from high areas to low areas, you can gradually improve your lawnâs drainage over several aeration seasons. The Step âN Tilt Lawn Aerator effectively alleviates soil compaction. Simply step on the platform to insert the tines and tilt the handle bar back to remove them â itâs that easy! This is a true core aerator, not a spike aerator. Core aeration is a proven method recommended by lawn experts and university extension services worldwide. Its highly engineered hollow core tines create 3.4â deep, 0.79â diameter holes, extracting soil cores with precision. The sharpenable, replaceable, and recyclable carbon steel tines are case-hardened for extra durability. The package includes a soil core removal tool. As an added bonus, the Step âN Tilt Lawn Aerator also functions as a hand truck.
- ADJUSTABLE WRENCHES AND SCREWDRIVERS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY. Step âN Tilt makes core aeration easy - simply step and tilt. Its patented tilting motion is easier on shoulders and back with a larger stepping surface for comfort
